Snow good — rain bad. (For business)

How the northwest became the coffee consuming capitol of North America with so many rainy days is odd. Odd because — for Velouria Espresso — the customer base dries-up when they get wet.

On the other hand, snowy days, or just the threat of snow, have been great for business.

Just got in this coffee for the Clover — very unique flavor profile compared to the usual fruity Kenyans. The flavor has nutty creme brulee quality. Terriffic stuff. More here.

Coffee snobs . . . welcome.

Velouria Espresso serves some of the finest espresso, coffee and tea available.

No over-roasted beans here, just medium-to-light roasted coffee. Dark-roasting is often used to mask defective or old coffee and no right-minded roaster would ever ruin the inherent characteristics of a great coffee by charring the beans or adding flavors.

While Velouria Espresso is committed to serving coffee-flavored-coffee, chocolate (white chocolate, too) is available for mocha and hot chocolate drinks.

And for those who appreciate artful steamed milk-pours on their latte drinks — they look as great as they taste.

We’re New England’s original provider of Clover brewed coffee, by the way.

Unfortunately, not everyone enjoys coffee, not matter how spectacular it may be . So, for those who prefer something else, Velouria provides a wide range green, black and herbal teas, along with store-brewed chai.

Plus, Velouria carries baked goods from Iggy’s Bread.

Velouria espresso is located in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts and is open daily.
